The Wasp was a flamethrower variant of the Universal Carrier. It was build in two variants: The Mk I had the flamethrower in a fixed position on the driver's side. The Mk II moved the flamethrower to the driver's position. Both variants carried 100 gallons of fuel, and a total of 1000 were made. The Canadians built their own version of the Mk II, the Wasp Mk IIC.
