The C2P artillery tractor was based on the TKS tankette chassis. It was designed to tow 40 mm Bofors anti-aircraft guns, with ammunition being towed in a seperate trailer.
The first prototype was built in 1933, and series production started in 1937. By 1939, a total of 196 had been built.
