The Raupenschlepper Ost (RSO) was a fully-tracked tractor, specifically developed for the poor road conditions on the Eastern Front. It was introduced in 1942, and served until the end of the war. The RSO had a payload of 1.5 tons. A version equipped with a 7,5 cm Pak 40 was build, designed as a stop-gap tank destroyer.
